Coach John Chaney

this is a tough one for myself...the match-up zone is bread & butter for me...

but the court of public opinion will weigh heavily against him...

we may have to bid Coach a solemn farewell at the end of the day...

here are some opinions:

Stephen A Smith

John Chaney is on thin ice. His fortunes really hinge on the financial status of Temple's Athletic Department. B-ball is really their only revenue-generating sport, since the football team was kicked out of the Big East Conference this year or last year. I'm not sure when Temple made its last appearance in the NCAAs, but they are no annual lock that
they used to be.

Another twist is Temple's A.D. Bill Bradshaw, who was the former A.D.
at DePaul and the man who canned Joey Meyer, despite the vociferous
protests of Papa Ray Meyer. He's not a man that traffics in
sentimentality, as will drop Chaney in a heartbeat if this current
controversey doesn't blow over.

Personally, . . . I'd send my kid to play for John Chaney. Better that
he play for him, than on an oposing team.

Stay tuned
